We have mentioned before that there are eczema triggers that you may want to avoid to prevent eczema outbreak. There are a number of things on the large list I found that I wanted to share with you. The first items are irritants such as a without a moisturizer, very highly perfumed soap or detergent's or fabric softeners, household disinfectants, rough scratchy fabrics such as wool, or any number of chemicals or their fumes. Next we have allergens like dust mites, cat or dog dander, plant pollen, molds and assorted foods. Another type of trigger can be an infection such as a bacterial or viral. Anything from the stomach flu all the way to a common cold constitutes viral. Fungal infections can be a strong trigger as well. Lastly, we have the environmental factors such as high or low extremes in temperature or humidity, high levels of stress and excessive perspiration. Now you're eczema may not be year-round it could very well be a seasonal item. The majority of people that suffer from seasonal eczema do it when the weather is hot and humid however, lots of people suffer from eczema when it is dry and cold. Incidentally the winter seems to be the worst season for eczema since the cold dry air does not allow the skin to keep its moisture, however the heat and humidity of the warmer months often cause flares and itchiness. Well, we have certainly covered a lot of information but I must leave. I hope you're eczema is improving I know mine is not and I have yet to order my epitrex. If you would like to take a look at epitrex there is a link in yesterday's comments just below these. Just in case, here is a link for <a href="http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/aftrack.asp?afid=268806&u=http://www.Epitrex.com" target="_blank">Epitrex</a>. Today I have a few minutes and wanted to say a few notes. So for a while now we have been talking about eczema in detail however, on not really sure that I went into some symptoms of eczema. Plain and simple. Dry and sensitive skin, very powerful a king, red and inflamed skin and a rash that keeps coming back and going away. Scaly skin, a leathery patches of skin, any crusty skin or liquid oozing, swollen areas, dark patches of skin and lastly skin pigment loss. This list is not all-inclusive and as I've stated before I am not a doctor. If you experience one or all of these symptoms please make sure a doctor, preferably a dermatologist, sees your skin condition and diagnose his eczema. I also saw something that was kind of interesting. I had mentioned previously that though it itches you are not to scratch your eczema flare ups. The main reason is itching and scratching are part of a cycle. You have an itch, you scratch it, the scratching damages the skin, the damaged skin gets inflamed and began to itch further. So as you can see it as a vicious cycle that starts and ends with an itch. Well we have covered a lot of information and I have to go for the day I look forward to speaking with you soon.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18733817-113335318702267817?l=myeczemaexperience.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Is there a way to prevent eczema?

Hello everybody welcome back. So I've been looking around and found some really interesting information. You may be asking what information I found, well I'll tell you. I've been looking around and actually found the list that supposed to give you information on how to prevent eczema. From everything I've read I'm not 100% sure that you can prevent eczema but it can't hurt to pass this information along, so here goes. The first one is pretty obvious it says to prevent eczema you are to moisturize every day. This one I believe because it seems to be common sense. This eczema prevention list also says to work cotton or soft fabrics and to avoid if you can rough, scratchy, and tight fitting clothing. The next one is pretty interesting because it says to take lukewarm baths or showers using very mild cleansers. It even goes so far as to tell you how to take a bath which is to gently pat your skin dry with a soft towel and not to rub hard and to apply a good moisturizer within a few minutes after your bait. They also say to stay away from large variations of temperatures as well as activities that you may sweat during. This one is a bit hard for me to swallow since large temperature variations are not only out of your control on a day-to-day basis a completely out of your control since it is based on where you live. Additionally, how can you avoid everything that make you sweat? I'm not really sure that I buy this one. The next one is pretty useful I believe though it doesn't go into detail on how to identify these but it says to learn and understand the triggers for your eczema and stay away from them. One of the triggers I have been made aware of this stress so it seems to me that it's a good idea to stay away from stress for both a heart healthy purpose as well as an eczema prevention purpose. The next one is a bit funny it says to keep your finger nails trimmed really short said that if you scratch your itching eczema you will not break the skin, and turn preventing infection. The last thing I see says to remove carpets and animals from your house. Now I don't know about you but there is no way I'm getting rid of my pet's to prevent some irritating, itching problems. As I stated before there is a really cool sounding product called Epitrex that should be able to help with the symptoms. Feel free to follow the link <a href="http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/aftrack.asp?afid=268806&amp;u=http://www.Epitrex.com" target="_blank">right here</a> to learn about epitrex for yourself. Anyway, minute so I want to share the things I found I look forward to talking to you later.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18733817-113300511032698403?l=myeczemaexperience.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Do you suffer from discoid eczema ?

Welcome to my eczema blog today. Usually people are sick of midnight now I am glad to see stuck around. The last type of eczema that we are going to cover, since I promised would cover all the ones I can find, is discoid eczema. Mostly discoid eczema is found in adults and is identified by small red circles of skin on the lower part of the body. This is kind of a gross type and if it is what you have and apologize for feeling this way. The spots can get really really itchy and start the seat out liquid. On a positive note, discoid eczema can be treated with those emollients that I told you about. Luckily this was an easy one to explain, discoid eczema, since I am very limited in how long I can write to you today. I do want to point out that I have got a lot more research on Epitrex and I'm quite impressed with it. I've been saving up so that I can purchase a product and am close to what I need. Right now and Epitrex seems to be the lead for products that I'm planning on choosing. As I said before I will keep you posted on what I buy, whether it is Epitrex or otherwise, so that you may try it if you would like. I wish you a wonderful day and will speak to you later.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18733817-113270198150761342?l=myeczemaexperience.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Are you having trouble with varicose eczema

I am so happy to see you here today and am very glad that you are enjoying my blog about eczema. Who would've thought something like eczema would bring people closer? Okay today were going to cover varicose eczema. Many of you are familiar with the word fair coast because of varicose veins which occur in people's legs as they get older. Similar to varicose veins, varicose eczema affects the lower lands as people grow into their later years and is caused by poor circulation. The skin around the lower extremities begins to spot and becomes itchy and swollen. Oftentimes these can be treated with various steroid type creams as well as something called an emollient. I caution you, if you have varicose eczema do not let it sit untreated. According to everything I have read so far if you leave this type of eczema untreated you can really end up with a health hazard much worse than the original eczema. Please be wise when noticing things like this. Today's been a busy day for me so I'm unable to talk in a further so I will speak to you tomorrow.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18733817-113258012444450347?l=myeczemaexperience.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Are you dealing with adult seborrheic eczema?

Good afternoon, welcome back to my eczema blog. I try my best not to complain about my eczema but today I have to mention but I'm having a very hard time my skin is killing me. Okay I will stop whining. Today I want to cover adult seborrheic eczema. This type of eczema will usually affect people between the ages of 25 and 40. Many people actually think it is dandruff since it seems to start on the scalp, but it will start to move down the head to the exposed areas of the face and torso. Basically the skin just becomes bright pink and flaky. If you places that I have looked seem to feel that this is caused by some sort of yeast and I'm understanding that this can be eliminated with the treatment of some kind of anti-fungal cream. Again I'm not a doctor, and definitely not a dermatologist so please consult a professional. Sorry it's so short and I have to go.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18733817-113249175746654097?l=myeczemaexperience.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Does your child have infantile seborrheic eczema?

I've been swamped at work today so I'm going to cut to the chase. Today we are going to cover infantile seborrheic eczema. Though this ailment can be devastating for a parent since it affects babies that are less than one year old it is usually nothing to fear. Unfortunately we do not know exactly what causes infantile seborrheic eczema but the good thing is it that it will usually take care of itself quickly. Children usually display infantile seborrheic eczema on their scalp initially, but it can spread very very quickly. This type of eczema looks horrible and very uncomfortable however it is not uncomfortable in any way, so I am told. Various moisturizers such as creams and oils can help a lemonade this type of eczema a little quicker, according to what I'm reading, but even without treatment it should disappear by itself within a few months. I am a parent, so I know exactly how it feels to think your child is in pain or uncomfortable in any way, but we must trust and the doctors and if the doctors say that it is not painful we should believe them. I do think that if you notice your child has infantile seborrheic eczema you should take them to their pediatrician or a dermatologist immediately for further diagnosis. That is about all we have time for today I look forward to speaking with you soon. Actually, before I go out want to let you know I found a product I think my work well called <a href="http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/aftrack.asp?afid=268806&amp;u=http://www.Epitrex.com" target="_blank">Epitrex</a>. In keeping with the trend will cover another type of eczema today. Today we will go over irritant contact dermatitis. This will seem very similar to allergic contact dermatitis which we discussed yesterday but is different in one respect. Allergic contact dermatitis has to do with materials and irritant contact dermatitis has to do with substances. Detergents and fabric softeners are very very common chemicals and they are also ones that cause a lot of irritation to many people's skin. Oddly enough irritant contact dermatitis seems to bother many people on their face and hands. I am guessing the reason for this is that there are many chemicals, oils and other substance is in face wash and hand soap. Not only are these chemicals present in many of them but many of us who wash our faces and hands very often throughout the day. The best way to get rid of the irritant contact dermatitis is to avoid irritating chemicals by switching products as well as keeping your skin well moisturized. I have found that I avoid this type of problem by using all-natural products as well as ones that contain no perfumes or scents whatsoever. Surprisingly, even the perfume free soaps and lotions have some kind of ascend and is quite mild and pleasant. I'm about ready to leave work to go run some errands so I have to go for now. Just as a sidenote, since I have not complained even once, don't forget I'm still dealing with eczema and am very uncomfortable daily. I am doing my best to steer clear away from whining because we all have eczema and we all know what it feels like so dwelling on it does nobody any good. Have a wonderful day.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18733817-113223619623327079?l=myeczemaexperience.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Do you have allergic contact dermatitis?

Hello everybody am glad to see you again. As promised on going to cover another type of eczema today. Today were going to talk about allergic contact dermatitis. In a nutshell, allergic contact dermatitis is what your body reacts to something that is contacting your skin regularly. This type of eczema develops over a long span of time through repeated contact with items such as metallic things like watch is or different materials in clothing or her bed linen. A very common material that affects people's skin is latex. If this is what you think you have thing you are in luck as there is an easy way to fix it. All you have to do to eliminate allergic contact dermatitis seems to be avoid repeated contact with the material giving you problems. If you find that it is a watch that is causing your problem, such as a nickel plated one, cease wearing now watch and pick one up that is made out of an alternate substance that your body is willing to accept. Inexpensive costume jewelry is another cause of skin irritation for many people. I for one know that I am unable to wear any jewelry that is not made out of silver or gold. I do not believe that this is the cause of my eczema however I do know it irritates my skin so I can vouch for that. I'm sorry today has been such a small conversation but I'm unable to speak any longer have to get back to work so until he speaking in I wish you all the best. Before I go I want to make sure you understand just how happy I am that you're here. I hear my boss screaming so I must go, talk to you later.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18733817-113214274454432747?l=myeczemaexperience.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Let's cover the types of eczema out there

Welcome again to my eczema blog. I'm so glad you have been able to stop by. As I explained previously there are about seven different types of eczema that I could locate how want to go over at least one every single day until we finish the list. As we go over these you may notice that you have one of these particular types of eczema, but I do recommend visiting a dermatologist to get a professional opinion as I am not a doctor and will never claimed to be one. The first one I would like to go over is atopic eczema. I've mentioned atopic eczema previously but want to go into a bit more detail. From what I can tell atopic eczema is the most common type of eczema and is related to all sorts of other ailments such as asthma. It is thought to be an element that is inherited and can affect people of all ages. Atopic eczema is very very itchy and can almost drive you insane. Once the itchiness is added to the dry skin inflammation and redness of the affected person you'll wonder how you will be able to go on. I caution you that no matter how bad it your skin itches do not scratch at it as you can do more damage than good. What do I mean by damage? Well you can crack and split your skin open causing bleeding and even infection. If you thought the symptoms were bad you would really hate infection. There are some treatments out there including anything that adds moisture back to your skin and reduces the swelling of your skin. I hope I have provided at least a little bit of insight into atopic eczema and if this is what you think you have, congratulations, you have reached a milestone. I look forward to speaking to you soon I wish you all the best. By the way, I have found a few products that I'm looking further into and as soon as I come up with some good products I will be placing my order and informing you of the status. Until we talk again.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18733817-113205686968259980?l=myeczemaexperience.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Any idea what causes eczema?

Good day to all of you, I'm happy to see here. Before I go on with what I've learned I sincerely want to thank you for coming to my eczema blog as it has been very therapeutic for me and I hope it has for you as well. Anyway let's get moving. So who out there is wondering actually what causes eczema? The first thing you have to do prior to finding out what causes your eczema you must understand what type of eczema you actually have. There is an eczema called atopic eczema which is thought to be brought on by heredity, basically from your family. One theory about atopic eczema is that the people with it are allergic to some sort of thing that is in the air which rarely affects others. The symptoms of eczema are actually a reaction by your body to the things in the environment your body cannot deal with. Actually many people what atopic eczema suffer from other types of allergy related things like asthma. There are also other types of eczema that are caused by irritants that the person comes in contact with. I can give you a few examples such as laundry detergent, fabric softener, various types of metals, airborne spores, as well as many other commonly used chemicals. Now before you decide exactly what type of eczema you have you may want to consult a doctor as many of these types of eczema look just like the others but have different treatments. Basically, the main thing is to have a correct diagnosis. From what I read the best thing to do is have a dermatologist look into your condition personally. I know that there are many over-the-counter treatments for eczema available today and I plan on looking further into them and trying them. If you are like me and do not have the money to spend on a dermatologist that will go ahead and prescribe medication that will cost even more, you may want to stick along with me and find out what is out there and how it works. In the upcoming days I want to go into the various types of eczema, I've been able to find seven, but for today this will have to be it. Again I want to thank you so much for being part of my eczema blog and I look forward to speaking with you soon. Have a wonderful day!<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18733817-113197442959321937?l=myeczemaexperience.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

The eczema research begins

Hi everybody welcome back to my eczema blog. In a nutshell, eczema, oftentimes called dermatitis, is not just one skin problem but a group of skin problems that can affect virtually anybody of any age. How common is eczema? While it is estimated that up to 20% of children and about 8% of adults actually have eczema. Granted not everybody has the same level of this disease, since the severity of eczema can range greatly. Some mild symptoms of eczema is dry itchy skin while severe cases of eczema can actually have broken skin which will bleat. Just as many of you, my heart sank and I was reminded of all the stories I heard about how bad eczema it is, how uncomfortable it is, and basically what a nightmare and eczema can be. I decided that I was going to be different for most people and not completely freak out, but learn what eczema is, where it comes from and what causes it as well as ways to treat or eliminate eczema. I promised myself that this would not become a barrier to a happy life, but a hurdle on the way to a happy life that can be overcome. I decided to start this eczema blog to help those of you that are in similar situations with regard to having eczema, but maybe in a worse mental position than I. I'm hoping that this eczema blog will be an outlet for you as well as a comforting place to come when you feel unhappy. I will do a ton of research since I have the ability and the time to do so with the hopes that you will benefit from my work. I am also going to try to find some treatments for eczema and if I can I will purchase the available products and test them out. I will of course keep you fully posted on the progress that I make and what I am using to make that progress. If my potential results are ones that you would like to have you will be more than able to go ahead and take the same steps that I do. I'm going to try to post as often as I can, specifically once a day, even if I don't have too much to say. I understand that if I'm hoping to be your eczema support I have to be available for you when you need me whether it's just for a kind word or something more substantial. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to write to you today, though I am very busy here at work, however I have run out of time and must go. I can stressed you enough how glad I am that you are here along with me on this journey. I'll have to leave you for now but feel confident I will return soon. Thank you for listening and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18733817-113182027057378025?l=myeczemaexperience.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>
